Two rubbish penalties from players who should know a lot better (I'm pretty sure the first is outside the box, but so what). An ultra-soft set piece goal. 12 shots in the second half, not worked their reserve keeper once with any of them. That speaks volumes about the issues at both ends.

I mean it's not like we're playing terrible football or that we look clueless, we're just in a state where we never look comfortable defending anything and we know the team lacks goals all over the pitch. Which is understandably concerning.

We'll be ok in the long run, that's a horrendous result though, no point in even trying to dress it up.

Let's not going down the route of almost discounting the penalties. They came because they were attacking and we can't defend, and were both fouls.

I agree it’s not a feasible excuse and won’t wash reality is the performance levels were way below the standard.
Twice in 2 weeks we’ve gone in at HT in front and capitulated second half and conceded very early on. The character within the side is shot to peices.

We’re in serious trouble at the moment going through the fixtures and I’m struggling to see where we’ll next win a game.
A serious complacent attitude at the club of “ it’s ok to have an off season” no it ain’t and an off season at this level can be catastrophic at this level.
Injuries can’t be blamed today, some very senior players went hiding Coady, Neves and Moutihno in particular.
Decision making by defenders is just appalling why oh why does Coady need to make that tackle?
No one in the league at this moment is performing at a worse level than we are.
To much tinkering from game to game looks like it’s just confused everyone. Back 4 to a back 3, not playing a recognisable striker against weak opponents in other games.
Trying to change our style from last season? Was last season really that bad and are we really in position to think we can do such a thing in such a short turnaround.
Those who’ve arrogantly dismissed the possibility of relegation have probably been given a huge reality check.
Fact is the better side won today, they were sharper in the middle and actually managed the game far better than us.
I said losing this would put immense pressure on Nuno and it has to a point all the credit in the bank has gone and is now going to have to go on a game by game basis.

It's the latter that does it for me. Albion, who hadn't actually won a game under BFS, outplayed and outscored us today. We are in no mans land, despite having a team full of world class internationals.
We are actually in a relegation fight without a shadow of a doubt.
It's more than the game. There is something not right off the pitch. If it isn't put right we are heading back to the championship on this form. I have no other words to say. Fucking gutted doesn't even get near it.

Next five EPL games are losses for us, we have five winnable games rest of season outside of those we can not get any pts the way the team is now. No offense, no striker, poor defense.

A formation change might help but I think the most important thing we need to address is how passive we are without the ball.

Coady back at last man sweeper might reduce the stupid tackles (as for the first) and make the other 2 CBs less likely to jump in.
