Set-piece defending is killing us. Absolutely killing us. Can't defend a free-kick, can't defend a corner, can't defend a lead. Can't win a game.

A point I think just about saves his skin until next Saturday's result which is now 100% a must win. But he's on very thin ice and if he got the sack after tonight he couldn't complain. I think the international break is more likely though. Maybe even if we beat Southampton too.

Joao Gomes had a brilliant game and is probably my MOTM out of a few decent performances. Bueno the pick of the defence for me.

A few scattered boos but general apathy I think from the crowd.

When you throw the first 9 games of the season because we’re playing “top teams”, a point at home against Crystal Palace isn’t good enough.

Want GON gone tonight.

Oh, and that first half was fucking tragic.

It's can't save him if they have any sense. Palace fans I know are annoyed with the amount of chances they have missed and how we basically scored with the first two shots we had. A point is no good for us there. You can't keep watching the way we defend and set up and thinking it's acceptable or going to turn around.

Different type of crap set piece defending but same area and result as per.

Not sure we’d sack Gary even if we’d lost. Almost certain he won’t go after that. So we trudge pointlessly forward.

Thing is, if we sack him tonight who are we realistically going to appoint in a couple of days that will make any difference to the Southampton game? He'll have no time or prep with the team whatsoever.

Shi will hope for a win next week and then pull the trigger if we don't get it.

A game ear markes to get points from and even though the score was 2-2, we could have easily lost more than we could have won it.

I'm hoping GoN goes tonight, but have no faith we'll get anyone better.

It's championship football next season lads whether GoN is here or not

Another utterly diabolical defensive performance. Both Ait-Nouri and Semedo not doing the basics of the job and then piss poor marking for the corner. It has to stop and GON has had 9 games to fix it and done nothing.

In reality this could have been a 5-5 draw. But we aren't a team. We have no cohesion and our confidence is drained. Southampton will win next week with defending like this.

I see absolutely no evidence for keeping GON now. Palace have found it hard to score this season yet we offered them multiple chances. We can't keep a lead and game management is piss poor. Time for a change. 3pts from 9 games isn't acceptable no matter who we have played.

One point. Job saved. For now.

Not good enough. Our defending is absolutely tragic.

There's still some spirit left in the side based on last week and again today but we're such a poor team and we won't improve enough to stay up with this head coach.

The goals we conceded today were atrocious. And we are going to get relegated because we just can't do the basics at the back.

There is the issue. It shouldn't be based on the next game. It needs to be viewed over the next 30 games in the first instance.
