Wolves 2-0 Brentford: Verdict Thread

My verdict. VAR are corrupt, cheating cunts - still. Get the fuck in Wolves! Well chuffed for Costa with his first goal in old gold. Nunes brilliant in the lead-up for the second from Hwang. UTW!

Fully deserved. To be honest I think Brentford got away with 2-0. It's a nailed on penalty for a start.

Partnerships all over the pitch; Kilman (best he's played in about 18 months) and Dawson, Lemina and Gomes, Cunha and Costa. We look a proper team again.

As good as safe now.

Kilman and Collins?

I thought they should have had a penalty too, Sa wiped out their striker.

. It's a nailed on penalty
Watching the Sky highlights and Dave Edwards (I think it's him) says he thinks Toti starts going down before being hit so doesn't think VAR will change the call.

Thought he was absolute dross tbh!

Had one nice exchange of passes in the second half but other than that he was invisible.
I agree. Thought Sarabia was nothing special and sometimes, compared to others, looked off the pace. One thing I will say, he's not unwilling to try a forward pass, which I'll give him credit for. But overall, still bit of a disappointment.

Think you need to prepare yourself for being appalled then. It might be for Lemina but my money is on Gomes. No chance JL is leaving his captain and best player out if available.
Gomes has had 2 very tough games (and been excellent), he's still very young and as I said earlier he was completely gassed before being subbed today.

Gomes has had two dominant games, we looked poor after he went off. He's made us tick the last two games which are probably our best two performances of the season so it makes sense to drop him.

Would be criminal to drop the "kid from Brazil" and I don't mean Costa, Nunes nor Cunha ;) He's fully deserved his place in the starting XI next match, as have Lemina and Nunes. So Neves on the bench for me.

We also have a game Saturday and Wednesday don’t we. Allows the ‘busy period, rotation is key’ card to be played

Semedo dawson kilman toti
Lemina
Nunes neves gomes
Cunha costa
Not for me, I think we need two players playing wide. Aware nunes isn’t a wide player naturally, but he’s flourished there. I wouldn’t want to see neves nor Gomes as an inverted winger of sorts.

Whether you think sarabia was decent or not today, he still allowed for some lovely switches of play, spreading the pitch etc. don’t think that midfield would work

We’ve scored first in 8 home Premier League games, winning 7 and drawing 1 of them. Not a bad stat.

Leicester's game against us is their last home 3pm game. After that they have a Tuesday night game then 3 Monday games in a row. Which puts more pressure on our game as they'll be playing catchup over every other team at the bottom for the next four weekends after, and likely under even more pressure for results.

"You know, Carsy, if Wolves go ahead and then don't concede, I think they have a great chance of taking all 3 points."
Finally, the truth is out, Alan is really Garth Crooks.

Alan is Micheal Owen in disguise. I knew it!
