Wolves 1-1 Nottm Forest: Verdict Thread

Bringing Sasa on for injury time was insanity.

A sub coming on without tying his fucking laces is a new one for me. Fucking idiot.
I read it as trying to cover for the mistake; them shits were tied.

"I dunno why I didn't clear it properly, my B button was broken or something"

Little brother shit.

It’s the ponderous play, lack of a clear plan and not looking remotely threatening that all feels familiar. Kind of how we looked for the best part of 3 seasons before this one. Maybe they’re just knackered - O’Neil clearly doesn’t trust the squad

Can't rightfully change your mind, but in the Lage days we never score today at all, I'd think.

What can he do, no money to spend, lost major big players..trying to get the group together I guess..is the only option

Hwang. Definition. The opposite of a Weeble. Falls down repeatedly for no reason.

Hugely disappointing two games at home this week. Fortunate to scrape the victory against Burnley and we continued in the same way today. Our subs today made no impact at all and all of them were terrible. Then we have utter shite from Toti, more crap from Kilman, Hwang, Bueno, and Sarabia (except for a golden 10 mins) and you have half the team underperforming.

We never do things the easy way. Forest were utter wank but our mistakes gave then two or three golden opportunities to win the game. Bottom line: Simply not good enough.

You have some coaching degrees right? What would you do other than just critisise those in charge?
What 😂 I've said plenty what I think was wrong from a tactical point of view.

Did you think that was a good performance?

Well, think we were ok in the first half after our equaliser..second half, dreadful..so how would you set up the team and include high up pressure or more counter attacks..possession, non-possession game? Which players?

It's a great goal by us...and not much else to recommend. Slow in possession, static off the ball, didn't get out of tight areas as we can do and posed little threat. Could easily have lost due to a very poor Kilman error right on HT (bailed out by Sa) and a shocker of a miss second half, can't have been more than 3 yards out and put it over. A big hand to Doherty on that for nearly making us concede with some awful play 10 seconds after coming on.

Toti had his worst game for some time and it was McGhee esque for long periods in terms of us just knocking short passes across the centre halves. Still not sure this is the formation for these games, especially today as they didn't even have a proper striker until about 88 minutes in.

Take the point as we scarcely deserved it, at least keeps the unbeaten home run going.

Thought To was the worst player on the pitch, which was a task in itself, given Doherty Played.

He was fucking awful
Bueno was probably just as bad, one game too many in 7 days

Semedo going forward is useless, great against teams we need a defender

Gomez, and Lemina were not bad
Cunha good
Hwang poor
Saribia ok

Thought the ref was piss poor.

Missed so many fouls, 4 times our player was flattened, one time between 2 players no fouls, one of the worst I have seen

A left side of Tori and Doherty was something to behold. A terrible second half in particular. Lovely goal at least.

Until we can either play 4 at the back or get a proper RWB I don't think GON has much choice with how we setup.

Right now I don't think he has that many options in terms of personnel either.
