Wolves 1-1 Newcastle: Verdict Thread

#Lageout

Fuck the twat off. That second half was appalling.

Take Roberts, the shite coaches, the stats wankers, Jeff Shi and Scott Sellars with you.

Absolutely cunts.
It’s that bad no-one yet has even mentioned the new halftime game or Nando’s lucky seat winner.

More a case of the player doesn’t care about the punishment for it or has no respect for the manager.
Boly is an arse for doing this but it’s clear Bruno has zero interest in having him in his plans sad way for a player who served us well into getting where we’re to end up like this.

Bingo and he's not the only one.

Other than Guedes (who I don't think is very good) and possibly Raul, there isn't anyone in that starting XI I'd actively look to replace for this season. We may be doing the latter with Kalajdzic.

So why do we look rubbish?

Join the dots.

I didn't rate him either but he wasn't bad today. He's been a lot better than I thought he would so far, combative aswell.

If you offered me Hwang playing every minute for the rest of the season as the cost for sacking Lage, I’d snap your hand off.

It's just not good enough. I didn't expect anything from today, not because our team isn't good but because we'll, we're set up shit.

Boly is dissapointing and a sad end to a wolves career, I know he's always had discipline issues but a real manager/coach commands respect. Lage clearly has non.

I know the last season under Nuno was bad and if the rumour that he was a dead man walking from Burnley onwards that would go some way to explain the tepid end, but the moment I heard him talk in the documentary before his first season I found a gravitas towards the man. He had a vision and he brought you along that with a respectful charisma that is truly rare.

I just don't understand why we replaced him with this, I couldn't even tell you what he is. I haven't had so little respect for a manager since the worst of Saunders.

Hwang is not good enough to play in the PL.
He is not fit for purpose for Wolves First XI.
He made a schoolboy error today that cost us the win. He has shown us every time he plays that he is not good enough. Stop playing him.

Anything in Hwang being forced gametime that was mentioned before perhaps? I don't really get why he'd bring him on tbh

Lage is a shit manager.

Nothing more than that.

As soon as Targett was brought on Bruno Coyle should've brought Adama on and put Podence on the left (if you must).

Our problems were keeping the ball, the dropping of the midfield 3 onto the toes of the back four and the static movement up front. It's all coaching by numbers and linear movement.

His tactics are championship level knocking out into the channels, no wonder he credits Carvahal as a mentor, the ability is the same.

He just wanted fresh legs to stem the tide, so he bought on his two reserve forwards. But two players who can’t hold the ball up (and give it away) and one of them absolutely useless out of possession.

I’m no Traore fan, but if you’re asking me who I’d want on for the last 15 minutes in those circumstances out of those 3 then it’s him.
