Personally I don’t rate Fabio or WJ on their performance this season. Looking forward to the xg on this . Roll on May and some serious investment on players. We need it.

Played some decent stuff at times, overplayed it at others, couldn't finish our dinner. Neto could do with a rest IMO. He hasn't been great in the last few in my opinion. As much as we agonise about Silva we still need to manage Neto, hes much further along in his development than Fabio but we still have to be mindful with him.

Pawson pushing Mason all the way for head incompetent cunt. Rui's injury will hide it tonight but he is an absolute waste of space. I'm sure Somedo went down holding his head and it was ignored.

Im not even sure they blew the final whistle with adequate time from the restart.

Yeah it was a lovely flick. I'm probably one of Fabio's biggest defenders tbf, but it was just his facial expression and general lack of conviction made it spring to mind.

Glad we've got 3 weeks off. Another head/face injury could be psychologically damaging particularly to Coady. As said above hopefully cheekbone rather than skull. Paul Merson isn't often right, but he's been saying for ages that not flagging is going to get someone injured.

Disappointed and worried about Rui- plenty of better points today though. Jose looked better, thought Semedo and Jose had good parts to their game, thought parts of what Moutiniho did at times was superb. The little flick from Silva was class and he looked a tad sharper and quicker, didn't do well enough with his chances but I actually liked some of the sharpness about him today.


atching that I think I would rather we bought a better CB but kept 343. Playing a bit further up with the confidence of leaving the CBs too it I think we could work out a lot of the issues, especially if one of the CMs then played further on.

I knew Wj would be zero as he doesn’t shoot or head or do anything to trouble the keeper but again Fabio misses six yard box headers and Rui let’s a soft one in and it’s nil points for wolves. Oh that’s without a stonewall penalty for Allison on Semedo.

I'm not sure what you're getting at tbh. I've not mentioned jota (who was my favourite player) or Jose (who I can't stand). I think you've taken a throw away comment about how fabio pulled a weird face and read about 70 things into that weren't there.

No No - I want Fabio to start, I want us to play attacking football. I have always defended Traore & love Neto. I am disappointed with the form of our quality players. I do not think Patricio or Moutinho have had good seasons & Neves is all over the place. Semedo is getting better but needs to get rid of the odd error.

Watching the game was almost as frustrating as trying to post a message on this broken website!

Everyone has touched upon our poor attacking patterns and decision making already, all the problems have been there most of the season though, and still no sign of getting to grips with them.

Not sure why we're obsessed with slow, looping crosses, as if we were playing prime Niall Quinn and Andy Carroll up front? Strange.

First half better than usual, but we still look unconvincing, disconnected and unsure for a team with a fair smattering of talent.

Was great to see Boly back and he came forward into offensive positions to good effect early on.

Neto didn't look at the races, I fear MGW is a bottom four PL player at best and Semedo is getting there going forward but has an Adama-like, worrying tendency to tear forward then lose the ball and leave us open to a dangerous counter.

Didn't see the Rui incident but very worrying, hope the big man is OK

Rui - 7 one excellent save, he should have got to Jota's shot.

Semedo - 7 good going forward
Boly - 7 really strong great to see him back.
Coady - 7 back to his best distribution
Saiss - 6 not the best he was on the wrong side which did not help.
Jonny - 6 not as good as normal
Neves - 6 drifted in and out missed an esy chance
Willian -7 best game he had for us
Traore - 7 caused problems
Neto - 5 not in the game
Mout - 7 thought he had a decent game

One word on Pawson, in the heat of the moment refs get called Cheats etc, never any basis. If it ever came out there was something dodgy it would not surprise me. 2 pens, hand ball when it hit Blly's thigh.

It would not surprise me if he is dropped next week, and how the fuck will they explain Var's inactivity tonight.
