Look at this incredible save from a fearsome header that he pulls off early on. Just as good as Rui's. He's just not quite as Hollywood.

Edit: I hadn't watched that for a while. The absolute state of Doherty's physical condition. At least a stone overweight, how did we let this kind of thing happen?!

You can blame social media for that. In the world of social media everything is either "THE BEST EVER!!!" or "TERRIBLE, AWFUL, THE WORST THING IN THE WORLD!!!".

Social media has, in the main, taken reasoned debate away from us and makes everyone hugely OTT. I agree with you on this - it's a good save, but one he should be making. For someone to seriously compare it to that save by Gordon Banks... that's genuinely embarrassing :icon_lol:
