Tottenham 2-2 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Very happy with that point, hard fought by the team and a superb equaliser from JSL. 7 points from 9 for Vitor is a magnificent return, honestly think we'd have been lucky to get more than a point from those 3 under O'Neil. Superb stuff

Fair to say it's been a season saving week for Vitor.

Now need Jeff to back Vitor to ensure the last week means something.

We lose that today under GO with a scoreline that looks like it's from that 1950's Boxing Day.

Deserved the point, even if we didn't really create much in the 2nd half. No outstanding performances, but quite a few solid ones. Semedo and Andre were mostly good, and dare I say it, Doc might have been the best of our back 3, I don't remember him making a mistake. 2 very good goals to enjoy as well. A word as well for Guedes, who is absolutely miles better than either Hwang or Bellegarde, and should 100% be in the team ahead of either of them.

Was that goal number 7 for JSL? If he can continue that in the 2nd half of the season, he'll look like a pretty decent ROI.

Can't recall seeing such a difference in a team under a new manager. Only thing springs to mind is Bruce to Corberan at the shit.

Yes, 7.

10+ for any forward playing for a bottom half PL team is more than decent (especially if they don't take pens) and he'll get there if he stays fit.
He's not polished, and at times looks a bit clumsy, but he can finish, he works really hard, and can bring others into play pretty well. I like him.

We are only just starting to bring him into our build up play too, rather than just being isolated.

A note on the penalty. What a scandalous decision. André gets kicked if anything. I get VAR not wanting to poke its beak in but surely you should be overturning that one?

Fortunately we are Kryptonite for Son - has literally never scored against us - and Sa pulled off a decent save.

I don't like Brennan Johnson, he's a little Podence-style shit.

It was refreshing to see Sa actually save one. Think he's only saved 1 possibly 2 for us previously?

In the match thread I’d said “sa finally saves one” but decided I was being a negative Nancy and edited it. 😓

There was an infographic that showed son has gone left like 5 out of his last 6 attempts or some such, so wasn’t too hard of a guess, but well saved all the same
