Torino Build Up Thread

Nice little guide just arrived from Wolves. Where to drink, don't be nobhead etc and from 5.30pm Shuttle Buses are running Wolves fans to the Stadium (police escort). No mention if they are coming back after the game, hope they are

My guide is clearly better :D
Still, 5:30 sounds awfully early. It will take you 15-20 minutes to get to the stadium by Bus and then you ll be probably confined there until the game starts, you ll be throwing away your entire afternoon.

Some folk like to get to the ground early...

I certainly wont be jumping on a bus at 5.30.

Are Wolves flying out today? Or will they fly early tomorrow morning & train at Torino's ground in the afternoon?

Today as Nuno has a press conference at the Torino Stadium at 6.30. So I guess we will having a training session on the pitch before that

Do your fans start frothing at the mouth with every day that there are no new signings? Could just be a Wolves phenomenon...

There's talks about signing Napoli's Verdi for a club record fee of about 20 mil...but it's been a month and the "Verdi near Torino move" has become some kind of an inside joke. Yes, fans whinge about no new players coming in (lack of alternatives from the bench was one of our limits last season) even though they also appreciate that no big name (at least for us) was sold (Belotti,Izzo, Nkoulou).

I’m half way there. Few Wolves fans on our flight wearing colours. Unsure reading posts on social media whether that is wise or not.

If anyone is going to try and kick off on the Wolves fans, it won't be hard to spot them whether they are wearing colours or not.

I'll be leaving for Mancland in a few hours. Won't actually get to Turin until tomorrow morning though.

That photo is so posed that even Liz Truss would say no.

I dont see why anyone would want to do that, this isnt Millwall. Toro fans are pretty normal, they will probably approach you and ask to trade scarves or something.

I think it comes from a bit of history of England fans in Turin.

Maybe the gobbi have a problem with English fans but thank God we're not them.

Oh, that's a very useful map. That's pretty much the city center. You can clearly see the big square next to the river called Piazza Vittorio, where the Wolves guide suggests you gather. Also, if you go near the river and look far to your left and upwards, you ll see the Superga hill, site of the Grande Torino airplane crash.
