2nd attempt - ie just from the listed 50 goals re poll of the top 20 goals of the 2000s - apologies for this, but polls appear to be limited to just 50 responses.
Only 6 members (including myself) have detailed their top 20 . . .
I suspect it's due to a general malaise I see with TWF in the last couple of months, no doubt due to the wretched and disheartening decline of the club this season, most of which appears to be deliberately managed by the club's senior hierarchy.
Note poll close on Wednesday, December 18th.
I know my interest and care factor for the club is at an all-time low.
Re the 2000 goals - I feel there's something not quite as visceral or passionate compared to the 90s; maybe because Bully was such an emotional pull for the fans - but it could just be me.
It's all good, they're good people and it's a good culture and fit for me. But it's a busy, busy, busy job and even more so from January as I'm running the German desk on my own for a couple of months.
It pays the bills and I'll eventually make time to remind you all that Paul Cook wasn't actually that good.

You're right though, the 90s has more magic to it. Which must purely just be because it was my formative years. Where as the 00s I was a grown up with responsibilities so it didn't have the same gravity to it.
The 00s were more successful too of course.
The play off final was bloody brilliant though, obviously, and won't really be topped.
There's some great goals in there, but that Mark Kennedy Play Off Final game will always be special. Even after all these years, every time i see it i still get a little shiver down my spine. I guess it's the occasion that goes with it, that gives it a little bit extra, but I fucking love that goal!
