Ticket Prices 2021-22

I mean, I'd rather they hadn't obviously, but I find it difficult in my heart and soul to get too exercised about a £35 increase.

Looks like they are keeping the U12 pricing band which will help me out (obviously not for my ticket purchase!)

I'm sure my season ticket in the Steve Bull upper was about £550 last season - so it's gone up just under 100 without the rebate

About 6-7% increase if my iffy maths is right.

Still hard to reconcile *why* we've done that but not what they were foreshadowing.
Gone up from £450 to £550 in NB no?

22% by my maths? Or was it not £450 last time?

This surely couldnt have been the price rise they were talking about in the Q&A. Vinny has took a massive step back and thought 'oh fuck'

Or set expectation so that everyone will say £35 on top of what already was steap pricing is acceptable. Seems to have worked.

Twitter is already annoying me. Slapping the club on the back for it, fuck off. They've squeezed the pips just because they can, the sums this will generate mean absolute nothing in football terms.

I may or may not pay it, I haven't decided. But please don't pretend this is a great act of largesse. They're also still wanging on about the "rebate", yeah, great. Fans bought a ticket and couldn't go, you kind of have to give it back, you're not doing anyone a favour.

Stuff like increasing the over 65s price to make it closer to 70% of the ST price because its the Premier League average. That baffles me.

Just because it's an "anomaly" and other clubs do it, doesn't mean you have to as well. Use it as a selling point against other clubs. And why are trying to squeeze more money out of pensioners who've been supporting the club for 50+ years?

Theyve been smarter than I guessed, foreshadow horrific price rises, sign an exciting player, put prices up but by less than predicted, get applause for charging us more...

Madness

Mines up by £100 due to being in the BW upper inner section :(

From the wording of the information though, it looks like there's a small bonus for having not taken the refund when it was offered as the discount is taken as 4 games from this season prices rather than 4 from the 19/20 which was the amount refunded.

What is this? It's not like that automatic shite they have at United is it? Don't know whether to select this when I renew,

These are the last lot of ST prices... Who do they really think we are comparable to??

Leicester offering good value as well as Leeds.

Some shockers in there too

We don't seem too out of place, maybe a touch on the high side.

It is exactly like the United thing. Tick that and they will automatically sell you a ticket and take the cash whenever we get a home cup game. No thanks

There is no in or out of place, what other clubs charge is irrelevant. I'm not going to think "Leicester's tickets are cheaper than the Wolves ones and they have a better team too, I'll go and watch them, it isn't that hard to get to".

Of course not.

But you look at a team like west ham and think we aren't doing too badly, likewise with Palace.

What I'm saying is our pricing looks about right / maybe a touch high given where we are compared with our peers.

If we were vastly different then there would have to be questions why and what impact this. I know you think match day revenues are irrelevant, I think they could well be a differentiator between us and our competitors.

Palace and West Ham are in London. Not comparable
