Surely the withdrawal of the license will mean the existing safe-standing equipment needs to be removed? Can't imagine that'd cost much less than just sticking some in the Steve Bull

You couldn't put it in the Steve Bull without reducing capacity, the seats are too close together. You wouldn't have to remove it from the South Bank you just wouldn't technically be allowed to stand as is the case now

But wouldn't having the rails there without the license be tacitly encouraging standing, and then risk the stadium's safety certificate?

I wouldn't have thought so given it's been there for 3 seasons now - be it nobody went for the 2nd. Wasn't the whole safety certificate and standing just another of Moxey's fabrications anyway?
