There goes Julen!

Ugh.

Back the players who will wear the shirt, fuck the rest. Que sera, sera.

Indeed. Not like me to be doom and gloom, but it is pretty inevitable now it seems. I'm not sure even making a couple of signings will rescue the situation.

I don't think I'm genuinely worried about relegation at the moment, but it is genuinely upsetting to see everyone so, well, upset.

Eight weeks ago maybe. It would be insane now.

It's all so self-inflicted.

- On no level do we need to go so wholeheartedly on the famine leg of feast/famine spending
- We shouldn't have let this linger so long, sort it out one way or the other months ago - Lopetegui was briefing his twat friend before last season even finished
- Lopetegui is a dick, he really is
- Even if all the above means his position is untenable, don't appoint a loser that literally no-one would stick on a realistic shortlist of 10

Rank idiocy from all concerned.

Gary O'Neil was being linked with newly-promoted Sheffield Wednesday about a month ago and lost out to Xisco Munoz. Now it seems he's going to get a Premier League job. I'd be curious to know who else we looked at, if anyone.

Villa Dean and Tory Frank.

Irrelevant if he’s rubbish or not.

1. Not his fault he’s appointed

2. If the players aren’t going to listen to a manager, then says alot about them (especially a new manager)

3. If O’Neill is our next manager, surely we’d want him to succeed instead.

It’s a shit state of affairs, but ‘I’m not listening to another manager’ is abit ridiculous?
Cant imagine anyone would be such a petulant child

I’m just baffled by the let’s get the manager we wanted 6 years ago, who realistically based on his career is arguably bigger than us as a club (or could be coaching a bigger team, I mean) and not back him.

I can’t believe things have changed that much on the financial aspect of the club in the past 10 months to go from being able to spend abit to now not having a pot to piss in? Surely January spends does not leave us like this?

That being said, lop has made himself dis likeable with how he’s acted, his constant outing to the press, but I guess that’s what you get with high mid/top tier coaches?

Just abit of a shit show really Ey

A red card for your new avatar.

Ban him @Kenny
I tried to pick the most depressed looking picture of him. Couldn't have Lop staring out at me any more.

I could change it to the JeffShi Cup of tea pic?

He spent £75m himself, the club had spent £100m+ in the summer on Collins, Matheus, Guedes and Kalajdzic.

Sacking Lage and appointing Lopetegui cost a lot of money too.

We were never going to go big again this window but spending a bit of what we've brought in since shouldn't have been out of the question. And if it was, we should have said so and not lied about it, which it appears we did.

He should also have just got on with his bloody job.

If he has to go he has to go. Replacing Lop by Lage mk2 is unforgivable.
