The Wolves 3 Arsenal 1 verdict thread.

On the drive back oop north, that was a superb performance against a top 4 side, again! The atmosphere was brilliant and Ryan Bennett was immense (Just mentioning him because everyone is, rightly, lauding Neves, Jota and Jonny)

Bennett did sound like he had a good game.

For those with Sky,

Wolves v Arsenal 30 mins highlights on SktSports2 at 11 p.m.

The last big side I have waited to see us beat. 39 fucking years is a LONG time. And it was massively deserved. Quite possibly the best 45 minutes I have ever seen from a Wolves side in the first half, and then total control in the second. Atmosphere was incredible all night, so fucking loud, great singing.

I loved EVERY FUCKING LAST DELICIOUS SECOND.

His block in the second half in front of the goal was as good as the one against Willian in the Chelsea game. Outstanding.

That's the one... I was waiting for the net to bulge and then, there he was! Fucking brilliant

I was 14 the last time we beat these fuckers and I have a picture sent to me by my Wolves supporting son of my Arsenal supporting son looking non too happy. Shame that! Ha ha ha

That was ace. I enjoyed every single performance tonight, simply outstanding.

Awesome - completely dominated one of the so called big 6.

Nothing else to say apart from the fact that I am a bit happy.

I don't think I've ever sung so much during a match. Brilliant result and just a joy to watch this team. Fantastic night.

Jota was excellent tonight, MOTM for me but Jonny, Moutinho, Neves and Donck excellent too. Raul is looking a bit knackered and clumsy on the ball at the moment but its been a long season and he travels far more than the others too.

Always feels like game over when we make subs and to be honest, unless the team on the pitch is knackered or carrying a knock, I wouldn't bother as we are not the same side once they come on.

For Arsenal I thought Iwobi was excellent and ran things for them and was surprised to see him withdrawn. I also thought Guendouzi looked dangerouns once he came on.

Another brilliant night tonight and being 3-0 up at half time felt like a dream.

I forgot to mention the (at least) 2 amazing cross-field switch passes by Ryan... just outstanding

It was like being in a parallel universe being 3 nil up against arsenal at half time. A universe where following Wolves doesn't lead to a lifetime of abject misery and disappointment. It was like, well, what successful teams fans must experience

These really are the days, and it's only the beginning...

I had no idea it had been 40 years since we'd beaten Arsenal. Granted, we won't have played them for many of those, but still.

Well done Wolves, and especially Neves for making me eat a little bit of crow tonight.

I was seven the last time we beat them. More than a touch overdue. Still buzzing!

Not going tonight which means we will....... WIN!

I also missed the Derby game around a year ago when Neves scored the absolute beast of a goal, so perhaps he might get one tonight for you.
