Tbf I'm not sure Mir is cover yet. He's only played for Valencia's youth/B side so far, and although he's looked good at that level, I don't think we'd be wasting money if we brought in a proven player at that position.

I haven't said I'll think they're doing a bad job if we don't...

Also Barry and Leo were hardly unknown quantities, a bit obscure maybe but both had been good players at senior level prior to joining us.

Essentially the same as Ofosu-Ayeh, from what I know. Not the greatest footballer or defender but more pace than a Ferrari and might be very well suited to a wing back role. Haven't seen him much but apparently has been good for Augsburg this season.
