Any of you lot on Xbox I have some new Turtles head headphones and I can here you breathing down my neck from a corner...
That's purely because you haven't played it enough. It's easy to pass it quickly in FIFA, and using the shoulder buttons means you can hit a lovely, long, raking pass across the pitch to set up attacks etc. The same with close control - once you've grasped the extra buttons, the control is spot on.
Far more variety in FIFA gameplay.

My XBL name is "T3chvest" I believe, if you'd like to beat up on someone in FIFA.
Xbox Live Gamertag is Bills Wolf if anyone wants to play:
Black Ops
Madden 12
And soon Battlefield 3.
Be warned I am sometimes in a party with some right twat goes by the tag of Boothjan...
Also be warned I am generally not all that good...and I sometimes say some bad words.

Fuck you, funny man. :icon_lol:
And it's true - he is utter shite at Black Ops. The term 'passenger' was invented for Toon.
As for the language - it'd make Irvine Welsh blush. The immense 'Aw, fuck you, sniper c**t' at a very high volume will live long in the memory.
Don't think I'll be getting Fifa this year. I don't think it's improved enough to make me part with £40 and I get bored of it after a couple months anyway. If gets cheaper round christmas I might be tempted though.
Plenty BF3 beta videos are up on youtube now. It seems Caspian Border is playable in the PC Beta despite being on a password protected server and not entirely sure if it was meant to be playable so early. While not an entirely exciting video (so I won't embed it) it does show the scale of the map http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO2hrjKeMY0. Some awesome looking screenshots I've seen on other forums too. Game just looks stunning. Can't wait till the Beta opens up for everyone tomorrow . However I've already seen 1 video showcasing the annoyance that was in BF2. Half the team stood around doing nothing waiting for the jet to spawn, 1 lucky person gets there first and crashes it before it's even off the runway.
Will be giving it a whirl on XBL tomorrow at some point, if anyone fancies a blast my tags Psychowolf38.
Lastly as I've been giving it a go over the last few days, I have to say http://www.onlive.co.uk/ really is amazing bit of tech. Free to register and you get free 30mins of most games on the service and all you need is a PC that can stream videos (basically any PC) and a decent internet (at least 5mb although it should work on 2mb and preferably not capped either as I've read it will get through something like 3-4gb an hour). IF you're not familiar with OnLive it's basically cloud gaming. The game itself is ran on servers elsewhere and is streamed to your PC. If your with BT you can get 3months free and the usage from onlive won't be counted towards your cap until 2012. Your first purchase is £1 too so I picked up AC:Brotherhood. It's not perfect, the quality of the video isn't as clear as your xbox etc and will drop in quality depending on your connection but it pretty much works. The tech can only get better and I'm really interested to see how good it will be in a couple years.
Forgive me if this information is already posted or so obvious that a child would know the answer, but how do you get to play the Beta of BF3? Is it just there on Xbox Live for anyone to try?
I think - though I'm not certain - that a beta is open to all, but not yet. Those who have a beta code already get the first week or so to themselves.
