The Video Games Thread II - The Resurrection

My Xbox 360 is now simply a media player.

I grabbed all these in the Sale:


Borderlands 2
Dirt 3
Lego LOTR
Sega Allstar Racing
Deus Ex - HR
Several Indie/Quick-play games (Capsized, Bitrunner, Peggle, etc)
A few more I forget.


The thing is now I don't think I'll buy anything that isn't on sale!

Love it though. Chuffed I finally gave it a go. And already looking forward to the next Sale and GTA V's release.

Just bought L4D2, some of the mods for it are simply brilliant, there's one where you can put Daryl and Merle from The Walking Dead into it, and have the theme music from the show, those will definitely be installed.

anyone done the dragonborn add on in skyrim yet? it's quite buggy. quite enjoyed it and a fair few side quests to get through as well as from the vampire add on.

Still somewhere in the middle of both, with a couple of the main quests still to go. Solstheim is incredibly buggy on my PS3, I think it has something to do with the ash.

According to the save file I have played on it for 352 hours. Not sure whether to be proud or ashamed, still only level 55 as well.

Went back to Arkham City last night - hadn't played it since January 2012 according to my console!!

But anyway - it really is such a breathtakingly superb game. I've completed the main storyline so I'm just doing the extra missions but it's absolutely awesome.

Yeah it's a phenomenal game, I'm going to do it again on the PC. Got Arkham Origins pre ordered too, that should top both Asylum and City.

I played Arkham Asylum but never finished it. It was a decent game but never really dragged me back for more.

For anyone who missed Tomb Raider in the Steam sale, the Exclusive Explorer Edition is only £7.50 to download from Game, and the Survival Edition is only £8.75 to download from Game, fantastic deals imo!
