I think we signed Carl Cort midweek on a match night in Jan. I can't remember if it was deadline night or not though
I don't think so, we signed him from Newcastle and the Cup game was the previous year.Wasn't he paraded on the pitch prior to an FA Cup tie against Newcastle?

They could well be playing them in 7 months time!
They've been classless about this and I hope it bites them on the arse. I really don't like Brizzle City and their delusions of grandeur. I'll never forget their outrage over getting 'only' 3,000 odd seats at Molineux on the only occasion they've ever threatened the top 6.
Absolute utter fucking wankers. My hatred of that shite of a club is obviously coloured by a lot of family connections to Bristol Rovers, but even so, that is vomit-inducing. Not to mention stoking up one of the worst rivalries out there, which makes it fucking irresponsible. If that bunch of cunts went bust I would have a party.
Signed him from Newcastle and it went through on the day of a home league game I think (actually might have been West Ham in the Cup)

Cort will be unveiled before Wolves' FA Cup fourth round tie at home to West Ham later today.
Norwich sell Robbie Brady to Burnley for £10.5m
Late enough for Jez not to have time to spend it. The Moxey Way!

This might still go through apparently. A quite ridiculous fee.
This tweet made me laugh more than it should have.
