Strange signing.

They're already well stocked in wide areas.

They've only got Deulofeu, Mirallas and Lennon haven't that?

The first two are very hit and miss, Lennon just isn't very good, can see why they're looking for a signing but then Arnautovic isn't really going to be too much different to what they've got in terms of consistency.

They were playing Cleverley wide left at the back end of the season which is no kind of answer.

Their squad isn't that great in my opinion, think some people last season were getting a bit carried away with some of the Martinez bashing like he was mismanaging a world class squad, there's still a hefty gap between them and the real big hitters but Koeman seems a pretty shrewd operator so I wouldn't be surprised to see them pick up under him.

Brad Smith to Bournemouth for £6m. That is a truly mental fee.

Bournemouth pay over the odds for Liverpool player, Liverpool do the same to Southampton. Like a triangular eco system

Does the Higuian move mean Morata's off to Chelsea or Arsenal?

Hope he's changed his boots since the Euro's else he's going to struggle to get anywhere close to replacing Higuain.

Morata is a Madrid player now. They bought him back didn't they?

They've got no other forwards though if he's unavailable for any reason. Ronaldo isn't as effective right through the middle.

Everton are also after Idrissa Gueye from Villa and have matched his release clause.

I'd be pretty underwhelmed with Arny and him if I was an Everton fan.

Gueye was great last year, even for all the shit around him.

Ronaldo isn't as effective out wide anymore either though, think he's probably got more longevity in his career if he can adapt to playing a more central role where he isn't always the main man.

He should adapt to a sort of second striker role, his jumping and heading are still completely inhuman.

He's an absolute freak in the air, he just can't/doesn't carry the ball with anything close to the threat that he used to so he may as well be used in a role where that's not really expected of him, he's still got the talent but he's not the all conquering force he once was.
