No.s 4, 5, and 6 used to be called Left Half, Centre Half and Right Half respectively.
No.s 7 and 11 were Right Wing and Left Wing
No. 8 was Inside Left Forward
No. 9 was Centre Forward
No. 10 was Inside Right Forward
