So Arsenal get a work permit for Paulista before he has actually signed. He should have failed the application but Arsenal told the Home Office he is a bloody good player, they agreed and granted the permit.

Greg Dyke wants to change the work permit rules.

Roughly like this.

Make the percentage of international games percentage a bit higher. Reduce the team from top 70 to top 50 in the FIFA rankings to make it much harder. Brilliant, well done Mr Dyke. Sadly fucked up beyond all recognition by the get out of "the player will be automatically considered an important player for the league and therefore succeed in getting the work permit if the proposed transfer fee is over £10m." Okay, so that won't get messed around with at all, then.

Rasmus Elm has signed for Kalmar FF in Sweden.

Eikrem signed for Malmo.

More departures at Cardiff - the amount of money they've wasted in the past two seasons must be staggering.

Blackpool have tried to send Joe Lewis back to Cardiff who have apparently refused to take him back. He must be delighted with both clubs considering he has been playing really well for Blackpool. There is supposed to be a clause in his loan contract whereby Blackpool will have to pay an extra fee now and Oyston doesn't want to pay.
They really are a pair of fucked up teams

Lucas Silva to Real Madrid from Cruzeiro, don't know much about him.

Holding midfielder. Probably spells the end for Illaramendi.

Apparently Crystal Palace and QPR are in for a swap of Jordan Mutch and Fraizer Campbell.

£6m on Mutch. Campbell cost 950k. Great business Harry.

Yanga-Mbiwa's move to Roma made permanent.

He served a purpose, had a few decent games for them, I'd assume they're bringing another forward in now as they don't have anyone other than Lukaku at first team level i don't think?

You would imagine so, as Lukaku is also a bit off the boil at the moment. Martinez needs goals, not that Everton will end up in any danger this season.

They have Kone too but he is shit. Naismith can play up top but not his best position.

Matt Jarvis linked with Cardiff City.

Doubt he'd go to a mid table going nowhere team on the opposite side of the country to where he lives. I presume it's on loan? If so surely he'd have better options?

Not sure, and it's coming from Ian Abrahamson so take with a huge grain of salt.
