I'm going away with the family for the weekend, actually away from the house that I occupy for 23.5 hours a day (The other 0.5 hour being to walk the dog)

Going in the camparvan and whilst its only a local site (Hampton Loade) there is a pub on site serving food and beer, this is the start of a fair few weekends away for the Newbridge family!

Flipping from the Annoy Thread

Fuckers who on the day they are meant to be exchanging contracts, change their mind and pull their house off the market.

Fuck you.

Since Friday it's been a fooking rollercoaster of a ride starting with the event from above.

So the timeline from Friday goes (like a shite Craig David remix)

Sat - Flapping like Ben Foster on a windy day in Hertfordshire we started to search for houses again. Slim pickings but we found a beaut. Only problem was it was a little further away than we wanted. It looked great so maybe a little comprimise on our wishlist.
So we headed over to Market Drayton to check out the area and booked a viewing for the Sunday.

Sun - Viewing and the house was better than the advert showed. Still a bit of reluctance, especially from the wife when it comes to commuting. Its not that far in the grand scheme of things to i54 but in all her working life she has never had a longish commute to work

Mon - Wife finished work and drove to the house to see timings etc. She was happy so offer went in. Late Monday night we get an email from the seller of the house we were meant to be buying saying things have changed. You double fucker!! So minds now mangled

Tue - Turns out other people like the house in Market Drayton and have put offers in. Seller requests that interested parties put in their best and final offers for 12pm today for them to choose. We do that. In the meantime we email the double fucker to clairfy if she means we can talk exchanging contracts (good to have a back up either way). She responds to say no....it would probably be October/November for completion...You triple fucker

Wed - Our offer accepted on the MD house. So just got to hope our buyer is happy to hold on a little bit. The house we are buying is basically vacant as they have another house they are in so it should be a quick process.

Utterly exhausted, confused but delighted.

Market Drayton isn't a bad area, are you in/near the town or in one of the outlying villages? Right on the A41 for going to Wolves games
