The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

still haven't been. waiting for them to make toilet facilities available.
Will be looking forward to being able to have a bowl though!

We have only opened the disabled toilet (max of one in that anyway) & only if really needed. Sanitising stuff all over the place - if you touch it you sanitise it.

Very little use being made as yet (we only opened it yesterday), but was good to get back out there & realise that I can still remember how to do it :)

Having spent the last couple of months cancelling/rearranging holidays and planned trips it was nice this morning booking in a couple of nights in September at our fave place in the Dales. Off to Beck Hall in Malham with the dogs for a couple days. Delighted the owners of the place are able to reopen and they are confident they are getting the thumbs up to reopen on the 4th July.

Pubs starting to say "we're opening on 4th July, we need that much notice as a minimum to sort everything out, try stopping us if you fancy".

What I dislike probably most about Hopkins is she doesn't even believe 90% of what she says it's all for clicks and brand. I despise the Nick Griffin's of this world but at least their deeply offensive views are actually their own.

Looks like they are finally going to introduce part time rail season tickets. It’s only taken a global pandemic and decimation of the economy.

When you get out of bed the right side.....because... IT'S FOOTIE DAY. Wolves shirt on, now the long wait until KO. Indian curry sorted for later, Asda delivery just, of beer and wine ( not just beer and wine I might add) :)

It's been a long time, can't wait.

Interesting, a part time season ticket would enable me to cycle/train to the office a lot easier.

Got sounded out about a transfer to Cape Town today. I’m very tempted. In fact, sod that, I’ll grab it with both hands and both feet if it comes off.

The Rand is a load of shite though these days? I mean great place and all that.

PS - first dibs on your spare room when England next tour x

Sod the Rand, I’ll be asking for wages equivalent in EUR (sod the £ for same reason)

You will be more that welcome, only proviso is that you have to drink Castle Milk Stout :)

I've had Castle Lager before. Not too bad.

SA and NZ are definitely two tours I want to do one day. Aus doesn't appeal.

Isn't South Africa supposed to be quite racist towards white people?

Treds has lived in Southern Africa before, he'll be fine.

Everyone I know who's been there for cricket/rugby has loved it.

Capetown test - where do I sign up. Only away venue I really REALLY want to tick off after Barbados where I have seen league cricket but not England touring sadly.

If (and it’s a big if) it comes off I will quite look forward to not really giving a shit what people think. That’s quite difficult to do in your own country.

Fair enough. I was just curious as I haven't got a clue other than what I see in the media.

On balance I prefer Germany to the UK and that's with the payoff of being away from friends/family and not being able to go to the Wolves games very often. Of course I need to work out what I actually do if I go there.

The UK sucks balls man.
