The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

I'm heading to Digbeth tomorrow as I think BD would work pretty well down there, cheers for the heads up about this on Saturday, all adds to the mix!

Andy already does some stuff with BD, he's done a few nights at the existing Birmingham one peddling his various meats.

Yeah we do kitchen takeovers with people all around the country, I can't say I've had a hunk of Andy's sizeable meat yet but hopefully I'll get to have a nibble one day

By the way, it's impossible to think of Stan doing his new job without imagining him starring in his own programme on DMax as the 'Bar Hunter'.

Enjoying a nice hassle free, tube free day in Birmingham after 2 days in London

Oh and it's currently sunny as fuck as I sit here on New St. This is also good.

My niece being able to call from camp and say ' Is it ok if I pop round on Saturday ' :)

Had a good ole loff on here today and was just what the dr ordered :) :)

That I have finally made the decision to retire at the end of the year after over 47 yrs at work. Made the decision after a good day at work, then again after a bad day - the decisions were the same so think it is right to do this now.

(Same principle as the ancient Persians who used to make a decision drunk & then again sober to confirm that it was the right one - as long as it was the same then they went ahead).

Have vacillated on this for the last 3 months, but now its made feel relaxed about it.

When you do, you are gonna have the best garden and veggie plot in all of North Dorset :) Congratulations on your decision :)

I doubt it - some of the locals round here are obsessive - I'm looking for a more relaxed way of life

I'll have more time to watch matches, but less money so it will be a balancing act.

Lots of trips to Wolves will help you relax, Peter... All the best for your future no matter what though mate

Trips to Wolves matches & relaxing don't always go in the same sentence (apart from the company)

A heart attack is often on the cards instead!

The fact that its Friday. :)

Ive just poached 4 eggs to perfection. :)

The new colour on my hair. :)

My new phone accessories ( cant believe i've admitted to that) :)

Settling down to watch Mr Federer shortly :licklips:

This weekends plans. :vuz:

And I'll be very very happy if Federer knocks out Twatface.

I love Roger but I'm backing Murray. I can't believe people still hold those comments against him, it's so embarrassing, and childish

Federer is one of my all time favourite players - and one of if not the best player of all time. I love the guy - but I hope Murray wins in straight sets.

Looking forward to watching it - and it turns out that Mini Langers really enjoys watching tennis so the Kids TV versus Dad's TV argument ain't happening!
