Just picked up the entire nine seasons of X-Files plus the two films in a boxset. Excellent geeky viewing sorted for a SERIOUSLY long time with that lot!

Going to work with twenty quid in my wallet and coming out of work with almost one hundred. Thats why I have forsaken socialising on a Sat night for the last few months.

That Charlie now looks upon me as a friend, and doesn't go into hiding whenever I walk in the room. He will take a treat from my hand, and this morning let me stroke his belly. This makes me happy .

Charlie is my neighbours cat that I sometimes have to look after. He was terribly abused by his previous owner and understandably trusts no one, but today I think we crossed a bridge. Thank you Charlie.

Brought an old rocking horse from a yard sale recently for $1!
Decided to give it a go and try and fix it up, brought a sander, some primer and some paint, working in the garage, Alex (my 11 year old) decides he wants to help with the sanding and painting! Quality!

Its always great when your kids get old enough to work with you on a project.

Only downside is when they get better than you!

Still I am always pleased to acknowledge my kids achievements.
