Finally some rain and thunder in Paris..still 32 degrees though..after 2 weeks without a drop it is nice to get some cooling rain

Door seals, pollen filter or sunroof are the most common reasons for water in the footwell. Mine does it because the door seals are poorly designed.

Thanks - I assume it is door seals then. They aren't great. I do feel around when it happens to try and find where it's coming in, but no luck.

Tip: don't park in the river.

Just got off the phone to the agent in London to confirm that I was turning down the offer I had to work there, it was a fantastic opportunity but I'm glad to say that I've managed to get myself sorted over in Brum. It's going to be a tough challenge but it's with a very small company who are growing (so nice after the past year working for a failing company)

It's going to be an interesting challenge and hopefully one that will prove very rewarding, most of all it will mean that I will be able to come home of a night and see my family grow up. I've a few days left to down with them untill I start on Monday so I'm going to make the most of it.

Good stuff. Good to hear it didn't take too long, which given the family circumstances is a good job!

Good news Newbridge. I hope it all works out well for you.

First time it rained heavily after i'd bought my car the passenger footwell ended up full of water and i feared the worst, never happened since though, strange.

Nope, door was shut properly too otherwise it wouldn't have locked.

There was a bit of water across the top of thecill which suggested it might have come in that way but never happened to any degree since, perhaps the seal had got folded under somewhere as the door shut or something and compromised the seal but haven't had any issue since so not unduly concerned now considering it was over 6 months ago.

Passed the numerical and verbal reasoning assessments, so one step closer. Was a little worried as they were incredibly difficult, and I didn't finish the numerical one. Just a final interview to go now....

Had court this morning and both my registration and suspended license infractions are officially dismissed and this whole stupid ordeal is 100% over. I was at the stand for maybe 10 seconds, and literally only said "yessir", "yessir", and "thank you sir" before leaving. So much for my well rehearsed internal speech and thorough paperwork copied and highlighted in triplicate. :icon_lol:

Actually, this is more like me:

... WHAT THE HECK - I CAN'T FIND A PICTURE OF THE BUS STUCK IN THE SEA ON ON THE BUSES ! /caps

John de Wolf (@JdWolf_Official) is now following you on Twitter!

I think this means I've gone some way towards completing the internet.

Getting out to my car this morning:

"Yesss, it hasn't flooded"

(It completely floods the driver foot-well, 1 in 5 storms, and I have no idea why)

A faulty air con pipe will also cause flooding in the footwells of cars...

We met some great friends tonight, some of whom we have not seen for nearly a year. Despite a thunderstorm that defied description, we had a great night. True friends are hard to come by, and I am so lucky in that regard.
