I worked over there, then stayed there after the contract ended... Where are you staying?

The two nicer ones are Allen Edmonds, not sure if you get those over there. Hand made in the US, fantastic stuff. Been drooling over those boots for over a year; couldn't resist the massive sale. They look quite similar though, one might go back.

I'm having a really hard time finding a pair of slip ons that I like. My old ones fell apart and can't seem to replace them with a similar style.

The type of shoe is great though, innit?

Those RM Williams shoes slip on easy as pie. Great great slip on boots and it is like walking on clouds wearing them. NOT CHEAP at all though.

I have about 5 pairs of shoes and about 25 sets of colourful laces. It just brightens them up a bit, shame it's now a "cool" trend because that was never my aim.

Pretty hard to put coloured laces on my new RM Williams! And with the Cats, I will stick with the yellow and brown/black laces cat give you. Seems to work for me. YMMV.

Of course... I don't think Cat would appreciate seeing the boots with green laces or rainbow laces.

Worth it though, if they can be resoled. At this point in my life I'm done throwing away a handful of shoes every year. Those AE's were $250 and $280 (at 35% off), but they can be resoled and I will own them for life. Much cheaper than $60-80 per shoe annually. Only high quality shoes going forward for ol t3ch, excluding sneakers obviously.
