I started shaving it off about 10 years ago. I was getting a monk's bald spot at the back and going very thin at the front. So it had to go.

I suggested going bald to Mr Penguin, until he reminded me of his strawberry shaped birthmark at the back of his head. Have watched him go from dark brown to grey to white, from thick to thin, from thin to very thin, now thin to baldish. He's watched me go from brown to black to red, back to brown, long to short, back to long, wavy, straight, and bald. And thats just me pubes.

When a restaurant does a wrong but then makes it right.

Ordered a take out the other evening, ordered it online to be picked up an hour later. Got it home to discover my Chicken Masala had been dished up with not one drop of Masala sauce or the mushrooms. It was just 2 pieces of chicken breast and baby roasted tatas, dry as a nuns chuff. Mr Penguins order was fine. If it wasnt for the fact it was about a 40 mile trip there and back I would have gone back.I'm not normally one to complain ( no, really im not) but thought no sod it im gonna let them know. Manager was so apologetic, and said it was totally unacceptable.

Today, I've received a 'Sorry ' card, a total refund for the order, a $50 gift card and a bottle of wine.
