The things that I really, really like thread...

Love cheese too, all kinds of them..gonna buy four packets of inferno cheese(chili) when the international street market arrives 30th of aug..it is from uk

I like Red Leicester and Cathedral City. I don't really like strong cheeses other than a tiny bit on a cracker at Christmas. They make the roof of my mouth tingle and itch!

I have always liked Red Leicester. Particularly nice with a side salad.

I like all cheeses, soft, hard, mild, strong, extra strong, well matured! rubbery, spreadable, goats, blue. It's the one food I couldn't give up. From on a sandwich, to a cheese sauce, on fish, on veg, as a topping, a pie, in mash, on a cracker, on toast, and cheese flavoured crisps. cheese dips, Mac & Cheese...the list is just endless. My Dr says I shouldn't be eating it, well I've cut it down a lot, but I can't cut it out altogether.

Favorite is a local one - Blue Viney, bit like Stilton but better

Another specialty in the West Country is 'Stinking Bishop' cheese - as you can see we really entice with how we name them :D

Cheddar for snacks, gorgonzola in sauces and pasta..pretty strong cheeses on sandwiches..brie and such for crackers..västerbottenost is best cheese feom sweden, used a lot in cooking over here..ooh and forgot about parmigiano reggiano, grand padamo and ricotta..so many cheeses around

Thought of one that I don't like, those Babybels. Takes you ages to get into one if the pull tab things break off,and when you do finally open it, it tastes of nothingness.

yeah, those are more for kids i guess

I forgot Dairylea cheese triangles. Nice on their own or especially spread on toast.

Good one Bear, or mashed in a jacket tata, or spread on a sandwich with cheese and onion crisps.

Like the cathedral city mature cheddar more than the extra mature

The carrot cake my wife made me for my birthday. It's amazing. I'm the only one that likes carrot cake too so I have to eat the whole thing!

Obviously my assessment of her baking skills is 100% biased but I would recommend anyone entering to win a cake jar off her Facebook page (the 'cakes' link in my signature below).
