The Tennis Thread

Not sure what difference it makes, to win the final you probably have to beat Djokovic at some point regardless...

Has been broken in the second set, so this one is likely Djokovic's.

Yup, two sets down and that's pretty much it from Murray.

Typical performance versus Novak. He's on a different level.

Djokovic with an injury? Expect him to come back out and play the best tennis of the match......

Murray needs to wrap up this set quick and try and get a lead in the 5th before the light. (Will probably lose 4th tonight now)

Djokovic steps it up after an awful couple of games. That is why he is best, plays badly far less than anyone else.

He is the best but the constant mind games with the injuries and tiredness piss me off. They work but there's just no need for them.

It is tiresome but he's not the only one who does it, Nadal and his endless time violations (which hardly ever get called by the umpires), Murray does an Emile Heskey limp when he starts losing as well.

Oh well back tomorrow to finish. Really have no idea who that favours other than Wawrinka.

I think they were both looking pretty weary. Not a Henman/Ivanisevic* situation anyway.

*Always gets overlooked that Rafter probably would have beaten Tiger Tim in any case...

Jim Courier and Mark Petchey on commentary giving us a glimpse of how high the quality can be when you understand the detail. Both excellent.

Djokovic looking stronger. Murray serving to stay in the match. Wouldn't be surprised to see it end here
