Even at 9 months it's nearly £3m. They do not have that money to pay someone who isn't even theirs and who just scored 2 goals in the SPL in half a season

I think we're gambling on him maturing and then being able to sell him for at least part of what we paid. I rather doubt he will be a late bloomer but you never know. Look at Kane.

There is a player with decent movement and can take up decent positions in there, but there is just not the right attitude or work ethic that he'd need to be successful.

Yeah, weird. I always think of Kane as a late bloomer but that breakout season he was just 21/22.
