When the window opened and we started getting linked to players left, right & centre it was exciting. Now I can't wait for the bloody window to be closed so it can all be forgotten and we can get on with the playing. Rashford, Smalling, Danny Rose etc - it seems to be a different player every day. Chances are Wolves were not at any point in for any of those names suggested, but there's a section of our fanbase who blame the club and spout the "no ambition" line when the likes of Spiers and Nash say the reports are "wide of the mark". Mad.

As for Guedes, he's been very harshly judged by a few on here based on his World Cup appearances (not like some of our fans to write off a player too soon... Jonny anyone?). He's a massive talent and if the opportunity is there to get him in to compete with Jota, Costa & Cav in the wide forward positions, then we should do it. But there are two things which suggest it's more BS. 1) how much PSG want as a transfer fee - we'd have to loan him. And 2) it seems quite obvious Nuno wants Traore and he is his top target for that role/position.
