we're going to be linked with every single half-decent player in the world

Looks like William Carvalho should be available. *That* would be a statement signing.

I can see Spurs or Liverpool going for Carvalho. Especially if the former get rid of Wanyama/Dembele.

Wanyama would probably fit with Neves best out if the two.

Both have had their fitness issues of late, I don't think it's for reasons of quality that Spurs are looking to get rid (if true). Wanyama has started five league games all season due to various injuries and Dembele has recurrent ankle problems that need to be managed (31 in July too).

Oh God, the endless mooted swap deals that are definitely going to happen even though clubs rarely ever actually swap or part-exchange players...

If not those it'll be buy and loaned back... That's another on transfer bingo.

Sissoko? Brilliant at dribbling the length of the pitch, then skying it miles over the bar from outside the box...

We already have a better version of him in N'Diaye, and barely anyone here wants us to keep N'Diaye. 'Nuff said.

You'd have to question the credibility when the price is said to be £20m. He'll leave Stoke, but it'll be for half of that.

Alan Nixon is behind this link. He has a pretty poor hit rate on his transfer stories.

Stoke want Ben Marshall apparently.

Catching up on the highlights from yesterday's games, sadly looks like he may have got a bad injury in a fairly innocuous challenge.
