Athletico are getting Jonathan Castro Otto from Celta Vigo on a bosman free, then loaning him to us for the season. He’s a full back who can play left or right. (But mostly plays left apparently). 24 year old, 18 Spain u21 caps.

As in only sign loans if we have an option to sign permanently?

Who knows what the deal will be but if he has a storming season I would be surprised if we didn't make it permanent.

Gelson Martins' negotiations to join Atletico Madrid broke down, it was revealed by acting Sporting president Sousa Cintra. He revealed that he spoke with Gelson for several hours & determined he has other plans. So it's a possibility that with that he was hinting at Wolves.


Hmmmm. I still don't think it is us, but it'd be amazing if it happens!
