The Second Club Thread

Almost normal Langers

You can tell he's a good lad, crouching for the pic so as not to tower over his dad.

Micro squeeze towers over me, is training to go into the police, has multiple tattoos and is a father himself.

Still micro.

@AlanI havent forgotten that I'm waiting on a reply btw 😛 (there's no real rush)

Although my thing now is to work out which is more stable: college conference realignment or the usa football structure. Dumpsters on fire both.

I haven’t either, I promise!

Been really hard to find time to give it the proper research; adult life can’t not get in the way to some degree and the wheels have completely fallen off of the Dean Smith bus down here so. Just a weird time for me and sport, and especially MLS (soccer + beer is nice, but soccer + coffee is top).

Can give a quick answer to your question here, though. CFB (NCAA, whatever you want to call it) is the biggest crackpot, borderline labor law violating sport organization in the country. US Soccer has a lot of issues, but CFB is the Donald Trump of American sports (at least in terms of leadership and decision makers).

That said, CFB is still the closest we get to football culture on y’all’s side of the Atlantic. In the blood, as they say.

It's all good! There's Wiki for any information, but it's one thing reading about it all, another properly understanding it. Not sure how stable the soccer leagues are but one thing isnfor sure, they'll keep expanding.

College sports is an enigma, and so embedded culturally into everywhere it's kinda impressive but also CFB as a whole...yeesh. Also going from exploitive slave labour to now (for the top at least) a free market on steroids is a hell of a whiplash.

Yeah the thing with the pyramid of pro soccer here is twofold; first, things are in a perpetual state of flux to a degree I don’t feel like other sports here match (likely because the other sports’ major leagues are in essentially zero danger of folding). Second, there are a lot of things that I’ve absorbed over the years that I feel to be true, but may not ever have confirmed. Don’t want to give you a bunk lecture! 🙂

Well, for those who may take some solace in it, Charlotte are having a lovely day out. Now 3-0 up against career cunt Caleb Porter and New England (owned by career cunt Robert Kraft).

Ream is now playing LB as his little run at CB was our worst defensive stretch of the season.

Now 4-0!

We didn’t look like scoring 4 over the whole rest of the season last time out. Football is weird.

Appears he's gone out on loan 😞
Holy fuck is that embarrassing for me!

I think he has a future at MLS level, but probably not in Charlotte while Dean Smith is managing.

Think there’s an ex-Wolf at Tampa?

Edit: ah, I’m late again, was Neill Collins managing them but he was sacked/left the post in June.
