The Rugby Thread

Even before the scrum nonsense, we should have had a pen from a blatant high tackle, right in front of the ref
Forgot about that in the annoyance over the scrums, but that was a shocker.

Going back to yesterday, England seem to be a team of process and very little instinct - I would be happy for Jones to go, and get a coach in who lets the players react to what’s in front of them and use their flair.

yep it’s exactly what Brian Moore, Johnson and Matt Dawson were saying no invention or self thinking. Very routine very disciplined but when it falls down no self imagination. Reality is if it’s not for that moment of madness from a Cowen-Dickie then we win the game.

Echo this. We are really boring to watch, very little ingenuity or flair. Just play the %s and defend with good line speed and teams know exactly what is coming now so can counter it.

France will score at least 50 here. The whole championship is probably between them and Ireland. Wales will finish fifth looking at what I saw yesterday.

I didn't win the £107m on Friday :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

France are very poor so far and Italy look better than you would expect.

Mate messaged me the other day to ask what my plans were for England v Wales - we normally meetup and watch it in a random boozer. Not this time though - blagged a hospitality package. Box, free booze, 4 course meal, prime seats. Be rude not to...

I’m off to Wales v Scotland with a Scot and a Taff - can I support neither of them?

South Africa in talks with CVC who own a lump of the Six Nations about joining it on 2026 when the current TV deals expire

That would be very interesting...
I'm very biased, but hope it wouldn't come at the expense of Italy.

Tuilagi gets a late injury - hamstring again, so doesn't play against Wales.
Joe Marchant recalled.

Good come back by Wales after a rocky start, France looking a bit ragged at the end of the first half.
