Was a good game but Wales missed out there, great defence by France but to not score in that second half from all the possession and territory was criminal

I have no problem with the award of a red card for Ewels tackle. The ref had no choice.
However, throughout the game the ref was very inconsistent and at times lost control.
Well done to Ireland for the result, well done to England for showing the heart that was shown during the game.

It's doing the rounds on SM that England spent 17 seconds in the Irish 22.
More damning, I think, is England have scored 2 tries in the last 3 games (disregarding the Italy game) in the 6 Nations.

So much for the 'new expansive game' from Eddie Jones.

I have slightly different feelings! Ah well, I knew we had a shit side this season with all the injuries so I am not surprised, and I am actually quite happy Italy put one in the win column. Their continuation as a viable part of the competition was under genuine question, so hopefully that win puts it to bed.
