I actually watched the rugby rather than the Wolves as I currently don't have a computer to find ways of watching games that aren't televised (and the former was on TV). Wales have done their usual pre-world cup trick which is seemingly to not let any of the players practise with a rugby ball for the whole of pre-season (they've been going on sprints up the Alps carrying tyres instead) which led to about 400 handling errors. England were clinical mind. But a very annoying way to bring the unbeaten run to an end.

As for Pad, that sounds brutal.

I had a somewhat painful night. Think there is quite the legal claim on the way. Two panes of the shower screen collapsed as a bolt was sheared through and guillotined my foot. Broken toe, nice big gash down to the bone and nerves exposed. Only the 7 hours in casualty.

Plus side. Morphine is REALLY NICE

Wtf lads it was a deliberate knock on with a three man overlap. Blatant yellow card. If you can't wrap your arms round to tackle fast enough when you've rushed up out of the line, maybe hold your defensive line and tackle the next man when he gets the ball instead. Watson knew what risk he was taking there.

That was a dire game all round. Played at half pace for 60 minutes with too many handbags and mistakes to make it entertaining.

I think we’ll have to agree to disagree - his arm was coming round in the tackle not to play the ball.

Neither side played well today and based on that can see either being good enough to beat New Zealand who regardless of what happened last week are a step above everyone else still.
