The Rugby Thread

England started like a train. 3 tries in less than 15 mins, some lovely handling too.

Scotland playing like it’s a game of touch rugby in the park.

Well I’m having pretty miserable sporting day so far hope it doesn’t continue.

Omg there you go and fully deserved, Eddie Jones has now been in charge of 2 appalling 2nd half displays in 3 games.

F#ck this, heads need to roll
Gonna be active on the matchday thread later.? :)

Onky listened to the second half on the way, but we sounded tired. Wouldn't be surprised if Eddie has been beasting then in training preparing for the world cup

Very rare that I watch League but the NRL match between Melbourne Storm and Sydney Roosters is on Sky Sports Mix and it is an absolute belter.

What. A. Game. Roosters won it with a golden point drop goal. Awesome entertainment. NRL is light years ahead of Super League in terms of spectacle.

Wow. Amazing by Bradford to beat Leeds. That club was a disaster and that is a step back. Wonderful scenes at Odsall.

Fantastic game on channel 4 at the moment.

Telling Jordan Lilley he wasnt wanted back at the club 24 hours before they play them probably wasnt the best idea. Bradford's a proud old club, the sooner they can sort themselves out the better.

Wigan gave a good account at Warrington, a difficult season but one which was always going to be challenging

Catalans should break the attendance record in SL era as the play Wigan in the Nou Camp. 30k expected, unfortunately it's the week before magic weekend so expect to have a low turn out for that.

I love league but seeing it limp along is really saddening, such entertainment value and yawnion ends up being the more popular of the two

Union is the superior game, that's why.

The only league that even matters is the NRL.

Onto the next world cup now international cricket has finished for the the summer

Very surprising to see Te'o left out, guess that means Eddie is very confident in Manu's fitness. If so he is probably in a group of one.

No surprises to see Brown left out, its time to move on.

Yeah, Brown is done. Good player for a long time but everyone has a shelf life.

Australia 47 New Zealand 26. Blimey.

Also means that New Zealand are no longer the number one ranked side in the world. WALES are now number one, at least until our inevitable defeat at Twickenham tomorrow!
