You cannot. You die of an infection that the disease stops you fighting.

My point being, if you take your medication and don't do class A drugs, you can live a normal lifespan. If you continue doing drugs, this could stop the effectiveness of the medication.

Errrr - you would find that with a lot of diseases to be honest.

But given that its your immune system that gets fucked then even a small infection or illness would or could be fatal if drink or drugs affected any medfication a patient was taking. I think that was the point being made as I read it

Pure speculation but would Georges health have been considered with his most recent sentences for transgressions. They were very lenient

The Queen of Bloody Sheba episode was on the other night. One of the best pieces of British comedy written. Have to admit I thought she'd already left us though.

A truly brilliant BAFTA winning actress. I first remember her as Annie Brandon in 'I didn't know you cared'.

Much to my shame, I thought so as well.

Unfortunately I still have a nasty feeling of another big name before this year is done.

Liz Smith now. (Nana from Royle Family). 95 years old and died on Christmas Eve, but been confirmed by the family today.

It's like a bloody death advent calendar at the minute.

Liz Smith R.I.P.

A brilliant British character actress. Whenever she was on, she lit up the screen.

Richard Adams author of watership down died aged 96, another one I'd thought had died about 40 years ago

I used to drink in a pub called the watership down, which is right next to where the countryside, which inspired the book. Jodie schecter owns a lot of the land near there now.
There is also a museum called Bombay sapphire, where they show you how gin is made. It is well worth a visit. It is right next to the river Test, a great fishing river, also. It is between Overton and Whitchurch, in hampshire.
