The R.I.P. Thread

I can still remember when and where I was, the moment Elvis died, like it was yesterday!

The new years eve show covering those we lost this year will be worth watching for Bowie, Burns, Prince , Cohen , Lake and Parfitt alone, then the comedy of Wood Aherne Corbett, Rickman and Wogan. Shittiest year ever for losing people

Statistically, the first quarter was a bit of a spike, but the rest of the year was nothing out of the ordinary for 'celebrity' deaths.

Maybe as we get older, more of the people who have made an impression on our lives, have started to pass away.

I was always particularly fond of Such A Night.

Surely the inspiration behind David St Hubbins was Rick.

It's supposedly biff byford out of Saxon, the filmmaker followed Saxon on tour, and nicked a few stories off them

George Michael RIP.

I know statistically it's probably no different to any other year but the "level" of celebrity to pass away this year seems higher than most recent.

2016 just wow
RIP George Michael

Fucking hell, this year!

This has been an awful year.

Your music has seen me through sad and happy times. R.I.P George Michael x

Amazes me how The Stones keep going. Think they are going to outlive everybody.

I've had my suspicions about his health status since he was hospitalised that time in Vienna.

RIP bloody great singer.

The first half was statistically higher the. The second half to december was average but this weekend has topped it. RIP George. There is a hell of a concert in heaven this year!
