They more or less have the same squad as 2014 I think. Nothing has been refreshed.

I won't upset Alan again with my thoughts on the standard of CONCACAF qualifying.

Pep working his magic! I actually thought Henderson's one touch play was far better tonight too though.

Don't think I'm allowed to say this on here, but everytime I've seen Henderson play for Liverpool this season (not that often tbh), he's looked very good and really essential part of their team.

That said, after the past 2 games if it's a choice of Henderson, dier or Delph I'd pick Delph.

RLC and Delph have both looked very good.

He's certainly improved under Klopp. He's missed quite a lot of games this season through injury so he's probably a bit fresher tan the rest going into this tournament.

I'd go with Dier personally. Holds his position better and reads game better in transition from attack to defence. With four players in front of him and the wing backs we need someone steady in that position.

The likes of Ruiz and Campbell are always going to be a bit of a coin flip but the spine of the team is solid and really shouldn't be allowing such impotent displays as that one.

Costa Rica were, again n fairness, a little bit shit!
Alexander Arnold, Rashford, Rose have played themselves into serious contention. Sterling fails to turn up so often I can see Rashford edging it,AA gives just as many options with a dead ball , Rose has a left foot that Young doesnt. Special mention for Delph who was really good tonight.

I don't think you want to be massively dicking around with the team from game to game. Momentum is key.

Surely there's no way he can have looked at the two games and thought we looked better with Young than Rose. The wingbacks are so key in this system (as we know).

Yep. See that but with two attacking wing backs it may leave us bare if he lost s the ball. Impact sub to change things for me. I said ages ago that there is no pressure. No surprise if we reached the final for me. My worry is the quarter final. 13 games unbeaten if we get through the groups without a loss. I know how my tea leaves tingle

I think Maguire is ahead of Cahill. Was apparently unavailable on Saturday with a minor injury.

We can only cross our fingers and hope he makes the right call at LWB.
