The Official FIFA World Cup 2022 Megathread

Would be making a lot of changes v Wales.

Walker needs a start. Grealish & Foden too. Probably give Kane a rest and start Wilson. I’d also have Gallagher in there if Maddison isn’t fit for some fresh legs.

That was genuinely shite and a lot of it on the manager.

That said, I’m thrilled with that result. Really expected to get rolled over.

So what’s the first tie break factor is it head to head or GD
By my maths if it’s GD then my maths say we’d need to lose by -4 to wales to go out?
Yep GD, then GS. We are through short of a hammering

Kane is either not fit or knackered. Either way should not be playing.

I didn’t think y’all were awful. Played us totally off the park for the first 20, then I felt it was pretty even from there.

Kane didn’t look fit at all, IMO.
We were fucking shit because of the manager Alan.

A load of cowardly shite and a total waste of the talent at his disposal.

We won't win anything with this useless cunt.

Eddie Howe will be the next England manager, probably in December.

You reckon he'd leave the Saudi $$$ for the England job?

Why would he leave Newcastle?

*whispers* John Herdman…

Funny how all the talk is that England were shit, negative. No credit given to the opposition who pressed really well and stopped England getting into any rhythm.

Very 'top 6' like behavior.

Not really when ever your side underperforms you’ll dissect your team first regardless of where your club is in the pyramid.

Should've used some of them tonight. No reason to keep the same XI, we have a strong squad, use it. Some of them looked knackered already.

England were shit, even the players said so.
