I'm sure that some of the more decent sides will have watched that and thought that we looked useful and threatening. Because no matter what the opposition, if Argentina, Brazil, France etc were as clinical as we were today, we'd have been saying how impressive they were.

And of course we're going to face better sides but it was an excellent afternoon for our opening game.

The quality of Senegal and Holland looks much worse than us atm, that might be due to them being more evenly matched than us and Iran of course.
