Thank goodness we have Bellingham and Foden in our team. They turned a potentially dismal first half around. Second half was easy and the 3rd goal was excellent.

I may be unfair towards Southgate as I tend to automatically think most things we do are in spite of him rather than because of him. He is obviously limited tactically but I do have to give him some credit as he can clearly manage tournaments better than his predecessors. I still hope he steps down after this though.

This is spot on, I do think he's holding us back a bit tbh and it's the talent on the pitch that's winning games rather than the tactics. We've got a very real chance of winning the world cup, and if we do he'll go down in history, but I still don't think he's good enough as a tactician for this group of players, which is a properly special bunch

We’re lucky to have four other options in the wide areas that doesn’t reduce the quality of the side if Sterling isn’t there. Shit news for him on a personal and professional level.

I was lucky enough to work with him (very very briefly). Top kid and even at 14 with so much room to develop he was incredible
