Christmas Day was sacrosanct for the NBA and they've eaten into that, so I think a regular Saturday game is only a matter of time

Yeah last season they had a game on every day of the week apart from Tuesday I think. So it's inevitable at some point what with the NFL's never ending quest for expansion and yet another game week on top of that.

College football is HUGE in the US, and I know several people who would rather watch that than NFL.
Playoff time is fine, but September-November would be very risky.

I mean, it’s a straight up dumb question with no side. So I guess the main reason i hear is tha Saturday is college football day.
