The NFL Thread

You may have been sarcastic, so apologies if I mssed that, but Revis and Ryan aren't exactly fans of each other.

Not true at all, they had a good relationship, Ryan wanted Revis to be a Jet for life but the owner forced a trade. See the part where it states the 2 had a strong bond? So instead of making crap up you should try and get your facts straight before trying to be a fucking wiseass... As per usual.

True Premier League rumor madness as people have "spotted" Reggie Bush getting his hair cut in Charlotte and immediately concluded he must be in town to sign with the Panthers.

ew the last thing we need is another ageing rb

Revis and Ryan fell out plenty during their time, you're just trying to make yourself look less stupid. Typical bellend sports teacher attitude.

Really? Find me a report that substantiates this because everything I have read has stated the mutual admiration they had for each other. To the point that this past couple of weeks many reports had Revis linked to the Bills so he could reunite with Ryan. But whatever, you've done plenty to make yourself look stupid around here. Never has anyone with such a massive superiority complex had so little to actually back it up.

You clearly have an issue too with sports teachers (I'm a coach actually, rather than a teacher), I'm guessing you were the fat kid who was rubbish at sports and always got picked last... Never mind, you can make up for it by being the internet warrior who tries his best to belittle people without ever actually saying anything of consequence. Good for you.

Late on parade here I appreciate but was there any need for that Johnny? Pretty much looks like a personal attack.

Indeed. Argue the points guys, don't make it personal.

Percy Harvin signs for Buffalo. So that's McCoy, Watkins, Harvin, Woods (hugely under-rated ) and possibly Charles Clay on their offense, a top 3 defense, a Rex Ryan defense and a Greg Roman offense. Hell, even with Matt Cassel at QB we have a legitimate shot at winning the AFC East.

The Bills are certainly making a push, feels like the quarterback issue will ultimately see them come up short though.

Maybe, but in Roman's offense they don't need a QB who throws 30+ passes a game, they will play great defense, run the ball and ask Cassel/Manuel to get the ball to Watkins/Harvin/McCoy in space. They won't need special QB play, they'll need ok. The Ravens won the Superbowl with Trent Dilfer at QB FCOL! The Bills D is not on a par with that all time great Ravens D, so I'm not expecting Superbowl, but I expect them to challenge hard for their division. One thing is for sure they will be fun to watch, can't wait to see them at Wembley in October.

Darren McFadden signs with Dallas. He was incredible in college but never really could put it all together for Oakland (not that that's a shock).

Vikes trade for Mike Wallace. Ridiculously overpaid from what I read but should do a good job.

The Bills have now confirmed the signing of Charles Clay TE, from Miami. In Greg Roman's offense he will be another great weapon. McCoy, Watkins, Harvin, Woods and Clay looks like a pretty potent offensive lineup. What an exciting offseason for Bills fans, I love it!

Yeah...got tickets with my brother

Cool, judging from the Bills forum I'm on there are going to be a LOT of Bills fans there. Should get a good atmosphere courtesy of the BillsMafia! I also have tickets for a Bills fan pre game party on the Saturday night, possibly including former Bills players as guests. Not that I'm excited already or anything...

I'll let you know nearer the time where we'll be drinking pre match

Not to be a killjoy, but you still don't really have a QB.

So everyone keeps saying, but we shall see. It's going to be a Greg Roman offense: he made Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick look decent in his scheme. The QB won't be asked to do too much, a lot of play action and short passes getting the ball to receivers like Watkins, McCoy and Harvin in space and letting them run after the catch. With the Bills defense I'm betting they win at least 10 games with that formula, they won 9 last year with a total bonehead for HC, a moron for OC, a terrible running game and Kyle frickin Orton at QB! EJ Manuel was QB in 2 of those wins too, but I forgot, he's terrible and you can't win with him as your QB... But we shall see.

Jags v Bills game in London will be the 1st ever NFL game to (legally!) be streamed by the NFL over the internet for free worldwide.
