The NFL Thread

Some crazy games today! Good win for Buffalo, now on to supporting the Packers against the evil Patriots empire.

Bullshit PI call against the Ravens lost them the game late on.

Saw that. Some of the officiating this season has been beyond terrible. It seriously makes me question the integrity of the NFL. I question whether what I am seeing is a genuine contest or rigged to keep the Vegas bookies happy. The latter really wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

As soon as you start thinking that you may as well stop watching tbh.

Good win for he Vikings yesterday helped by 2 blocked punt touchdowns (hadn't had even 1 of those since 1986 apparently!)

NFL season tickets for 2015 booked!!

Right on the half way line in the top of the lower section. Pricey seats but we said we wanted to try it lower down though. £287 each for the three games!! Oooosh. Fuck it you only live once!

The Colts this year are the NFL version of a Kevin Keegan football team. Offensively tremendous - Luck is the best young QB in the game, defence gives up way too many points though. They were my tip for the AFC this year, but it looks like a Divisional Round away defeat in Denver or New England at the moment to me.

Disappointed in the Dolphins tonight. At home to possibly the worst pass defence in the league in the Ravens, and Tannehill only manages one passing TD. Poor.

Anyone else seen that vine of the officials giving each other a fist bump after Denver scored against Buffalo? Ridiculous, particularly as Denver were given the opportunities to score their first 2 TDs after really terrible penalty calls on Buffalo. Twice the Bills stopped them on 3rd down, twice phantom penalty calls gave Denver a 1st down. Not to mention the Denver player who headbutted a helmetless Bills player and got no flag... The fix is in... It is every week this shit is happening. I am not making it up.

Does that really show a lot other than they both agree on the call or something? I doubt there is much in your conspiracy theories other than there is favouritism to the 'bigger' teams just as there is here in the premier league.

Johnny Manziel having a nightmare first start for the Browns. The media hype of him is odd, is this what it was like when Tebow was around?

Bills doing well against Green Bay, though for all Toon's complaining about decisions going against the Bills, they got away with a missed holding call in the punt return TD IMO.

Yeah he's in mine this week too (streaming).

Though I do have Bell and Beckham to make up for it.

Same! 2 interceptions now, this Bills defence is very good, just need to be able to put up more points at the other end although today they're managing via field goals

It'd be difficult to explain as college football has next to no presence in the UK (or at least I see no reason for it to do).

The last 2 weeks the Bills D has faced Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers: between them they have managed under 400 yards passing, 0 TDs and 4 Ints. That is hugely impressive. I really don't think there is a more complete defense in the league except for the Seahawks. If only we had an offense we'd be serious contenders, and I don't think the problem lies completely with our uninspiring QBs, the Offensive Co-ordinator is awful, downright awful.

About time we caught a break! If you're talking about the almost block in the back near the end of the return, I thought it might get a flag, but looking at the replay the blocker blocked his shoulder from the side so not a block in the back.

No, there was a shirt pull out near the sideline.
