The NFL Thread

I’m Jets for some reason, great to see they’re still a joke

I don't have a team but I've slowly been leaning towards the Seahawks.

On here we have:
Eagles
Saints
Cowboys
Bills
Vikings
Falcons
Bears
'Skins
I think Browns

Probably missed a couple... just don't pick the Patriots or the Cowboys!

Was thinking of Green Bay, won first 2 Super Bowls and seem quiet a traditional team

Yeah I like the Packers, but that’s mainly because of Aaron Rogers, the best QB to watch IMO.

I don't mind the Packers, think they've wasted Rodgers' best years though by not giving him enough weapons

Doing my research on them a lot over the past couple of hours, 4 titles in total so have a good tradition although they were a car crash in the 70’s and 80’s.
Was also reading about the ice bowl v the Dallas in the late 60’s, how on Earth they played in those conditions is unbelievable.

Yeah completely agree, feels like most of the time they’re just hoping he can do it all on his own. At least it looks like he might actually have a D this year...

So Packers are my side it’s decided, next game against the vikings next Sunday. Enjoyed watching the red zone on sky tonight.

Just getting head around the format, you play everyone once but you play those in your regional division twice?
All top sides progress to the playoffs, along with 2 wildcards from the afc and nfc?

16 games, 6 against teams in your division, other 10 are on divisional rotation. Two conferences AFC and NFC, 6 teams from each go into the play offs(still in conference) 4 league winners + 2 with best record. Winner of each conference play in the SB

Marvellous stuff seems a straightforward format

More bloody cheeseheads, that's all we need... :icon_lol:

Baltimore beating Miami up is a bit like Tyson Fury beating up Jimmy Krankie

Nice to see a good first half from Washington so far.

Dolphins are going to really suck. They have 14 players on their 53 man roster who they signed AFTER the final pre season game! They are in full blown tank mode.

Not the best nickname I’ve come across

Got a mate I meet up with for the American Football in London, he wears a big cheese grater on his head... That sorts the cheese out! :smarmy:

I'm a Bears fan and you are now like an Albion or Villa fan to me :icon_twisted:

If you wanted a "real" team with proper history, this is the 100th year of the NFL and only one team has been there since the beginning, with 9 championships along the way.
You could have been a Bear, but no, you're a cheese head...:icon_rolleyes:
