The NFL Thread

I can't find any articles on it now, but I'm positive the Rams agreed to play a home game every year in London until their new stadium is ready in 2019 I think it was for three years, so 2016-18.

Pleased i'll get to see my team in action after missing them a few years back. Would rather it was at Wembley but can't have it all.

Will make a weekend of it again.

Excited to get tickets to see the Vikings, even if it is against the Browns!

Philadelphia add a new classic to the "how to lose a game stupidly" mix tape that is their 2016 season.

When you score a touchdown to get to 26-27 down with 4 seconds left DO NOT go for the 2 point conversion. Take overtime for christ's sake.

They have nothing to play for Playoff wise, so thought "fuck it why not?".

Chicago went for the tie and lost. Loads on the clock and the other QB is Aaron Rodgers. Should have gone for the TD.

Falcons already 14-0. The 49ers are like a school team. Just woeful

21-0 Falcons

Looks like Washington are going to be relying on Dallas twatting Tampa.

What's redskins schedule like? Tampa will be 2-1 at worst, I certainly wouldn't rule out tampa beating Dallas either.

Finish against the Giants. Carolina on Monday. Think Philadelphia is the other game but I might be wrong.

Edit - tell a lie - not the Eagles, the Bears.

So should have a decent chance of at least 2-1

If you can win out then you'll sneak in ahead of Detroit. Giants will already be in by then so might be a good time to play them

Pederson has spent the season making ballsy calls on 4th down, which invariably have gone tits up. This falls into that category. Fans are torn on it, personally I think there have been some that have been worth it, others less so. A 2 point conversion with no running back or wide receivers you can bank on is questionable.

Tomlin at the Steelers likes his 2 point conversions as well. Though he does have Bell/Brown to use.

General view of Eagles fans is is it was a chance worth taking in a nothing game. A chance to win at 4th and 2 or a chance to win a chance with a field goal. Lose the toss and the offence might not get on the field again. If we were 8-5 rather than 5-8 I think it may have been different though

Most American sports fans absolutely despise ties (what you lot call draws). I'd bet that upward of 90% of American football fans would prefer their team play for a win and lose than ever play for a tie.

It was the fact that - pull off the two point conversion = win. Fail = lose. Extra point = 15 minutes to still get the win.

Raiders cruising, playing really well and then Derrick Carr breaks his fibula or what was only the 16th sack of the season given up by the Raiders. I actually feel devastated. Kinda ruined the feel great factor of supporting the first competent Raiders side since I was 19! (I am now 34...)

Must win for the Ravens at the Steelers today, Lose and no play offs this season.
